Salvatore Pane is at the center of the small and independent literary scene in Indianapolis. He's a professor at the University of Indianapolis, he's an author, and he's part of Corgi Snorgel Press (along with his fiance Theresa, who is also a big driver of the scene.) Brad and Sal talked about writing, working class sensibilities, and the New York Knicks, three ideas that are more linked than you may think.

Halle Butler's novel Jillian is getting rave reviews. I had the chance to sit down with her last November -- before the book came out -- to talk about writing while drinking tea in the office of Curbside Splendor Publshing in Chicago. It was also her first official interview, which made for an even better time.
